Naomi Yasuda

Naomi Yasuda simply put, is one of the most creative and innovative nail technicians in the world, with a truly artistic approach to nail design.

Born and raised in Japan, she showed a pre-disposition for detail and creativity at an early age, which led her to study the art of manicure and nail design at Chunichi Beauty College in Nagoya, Japan.

In 2007 she moved to New York City where nails have become her permanent canvas.  In a short space of time these miniature works of art have been featured in major fashion and beauty advertising campaigns including Kenzo Paris, Chanel, Fendi, Sephora, MAC, Maybelline, Revlon, and Covergirl - The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and NFL Superbowl campaigns. She has also collaborated on editorials for Vogue (US, Italia, China, Germany, Arabia, Ukraine), Teen Vogue, W, V, Love, Paper, Dazed, Beauty Paper, King Kong, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Glamour, Allure, and Elle.

Naomi works regularly with some of the industry’s most well-known photographers including Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Sorrenti, Mert & Marcus, Craig McDean, David Roemer, Sebastian Mader, Marcus Ohlson, Luigi + Iango, Tom Munro, Richard Burbridge, Ben Watts, Daniel Jackson, and Ben Hassett.

Not surprisingly, Naomi has gained an ardent following amongst a steadily growing list of celebrities, most notably Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rita Ora, Nicki Minaj, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Kesha, and Emma Stone.

For Naomi no design is too extreme, she continues to challenge herself creatively, drawing inspiration from art, nature and life, and transforming it into the amazing work for which she has become so well known.
